Get directionsAtmosphere was nice and so was service. Food made me retch though and I held my nose eating it to not be rude. Not to be gross but I had to “remove the food” from my stomach afterwards to avoid an “explosive event” later in the evening. Also no menus was an odd touch.
My husband and I just rolled ourselves home from this beautiful gem of a restaurant, and I had to write this before my food coma fully kicked in. We were lucky enough to meet the powerhouse behind it all, Chef Kimsimone, part culinary wizard, part sunshine, and all passion. No one in the restaurant. Waiting for a half a sandwich for lunch took too long. Not for the person with short lunches. Other folks came in after me and waited several minutes for someone to even appear from the back. Food was good but i wouldn't consider it worth the wait. Hopefully they can do better. Not sure if there will be a next time.
Convenient location, prompt and friendly service, innovative menu, reasonable prices, fresh and delicious food. Thoroughly enjoyed the mandu app and bibimbap main followed by a delightful chat with the passionate owner. Outstanding experience!
First time trying this place and I ordered the Reuben. It came with fries (no drink) for about $20, which felt a little pricey for just a sandwich and fries. The host was very friendly and the restaurant itself was spotless, which I really appreciated. The food took a little while, but it was worth the wait. I do wish the bread had been toasted more, and the corned beef wasn’t quite what I expected — a bit dry and not the usual bright pink/red look.
