Unfortunately our access code wasn't emailed to us until 2 hours after we arrived, which was already a 3 hours after check in time. The phone number given to call/text in emergencies yielded no response for 2 hours. We had a long drive with a toddler and ended up keeping them up past their bedtime in hopes of getting the code. Disappointingly, this error was never addressed. No calls or messages, just canned responses that sounded like AI. Booked a house through this company to enjoy mountain biking and the outdoors. TWO days after booking saw reports of wildfires in the area that are causing very poor air quality limiting use of the outdoors. We contacted the company immediately to cancel so they could re-list the property and we could choose another destination, but they wouldn't let us cancel. They are clearly not in the business of making your vacation good and/or working with you. Pretty lame. They're just in it for the money.
Rented from Diana via AIRBNB had to leave early due to wildfire smoke being blown into the house from the little AC units. She refused to refund even after AIRBNB investigated. Don’t waste your money renting anything from Diana.
We had an incredible stay at the Farewell Bend House! Great location that is situated between the Box Factory and Downtown as well as an easy walk to the Old Mill District, the Galveston corridor, the river, Drake Park, and the Hayden Homes Amphitheater. This well appointed home was stocked with quality linens, super comfortable beds, quality supplies and a really nice hot tub, as well as cruiser bikes! Will stay again!!
We stayed at St Helens Place Cottage and it was wonderful. So clean and well equipped. The staff was excellent and attentive to our questions, even about what restaurants to try. I would highly recommend using them for vacation rentals.
