Their customer service is lacking. We have had to work with them since 2018 when my son got his first set of SMOs. He then transitioned into AFOs. Multiple times, the orthotics took over 2 months to be completed. At least 2 of those times, they did not fit when they arrived and we had to wait again. The front desk staff is unfriendly.

I had went to one appointment somewhere else the second appointment they canceled twice. I called a step ahead they got me right in and have went above and beyond for me. I would highly recommend A Step Ahead

This place, along with my daughter’s hard work and Vanderbilt PT, is why my child can walk. They have a trained, informed and engaged staff. They keep their commitments on timelines and cost. They were conscientious and accommodating when it came to billing and balanced being professional and personable in a way that is rare nowadays. I recommend them highly.
