Celebrated a friend's birthday here, such a cute gem to sip tea, have a light lunch, and spend time with friends. The owner and his mom (Barbie) are so nice; they went out of their way to ensure we familiarized ourselves with the menu. The teas that we had were perfectly matched with our sandwiches. They have a variety of sandwiches and desserts to choose from. I will definitely be a return customer.
My mom and I visited A Steep In Time after looking for a high tea experience in the Bay Area. The space is charming and the owner was very kind and welcoming. The food and tea were both excellent. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend a visit for a reasonably priced and enjoyable high tea!

'Our Tea' time was was such an awesome experience. It is definitely not "just tea". I was blown away by the ambiance and the abundant menus. So many different common ones and lesser-known teas. I had the 'Vanilla Rose'. So many that I had a hard time choosing, but it was delicious. Definitely a sweet spot for a special date, celebration or small group. Be prepared to wear a fascinator hat to fit in with the hosts and other guests. Plan to take pictures of your group all dressed up in their finery.
