Joel WAS a good painter. Did a lot of work for us a few years ago and it was flawless. Hired him in 2018 and gave us a bid that was reasonable. Took FOREVER to complete. He blamed it on an incompetent crew and they were. One was a drunk and the other would only work if I was standing in the room. Said he would fix mistakes. When Joel actually showed up himself to paint on the weekend I thought we were in business. We hired him because of his previous quality of work. But that has declined rapidly. Would recommend A splash of Color to anyone! A Hard working, efficient, and pleasant crew to do business with. Very pleased with job that they did!
I've been more disappointed in Joel than in any other vendor we have used. He took our money and never finished the job after repeatedly telling us he would be back. He had "one hour" left when I paid him and now over one month later he has never returned. The sad thing is he did a great job cleaning off and painting our deck. If only his integrity would have held out to finish it we'd be referring him to everyone we know. There is no way I could refer anyone to him now.
