I want to share information on the reviews that have already been given so people have complete information. A wig cap is required in most areas to try wigs on, do not like the plastic caps but they are used by many people. A LOT of salons in the US that deal with medical wigs charge because they are allowed by insurance company's the same as a doctor's visit; from $35 to $55 to try on medical grade wigs(many people try them on for different color or look because a stylist suggested it and never buy). -0 would be the "stars" I'd give this place. Wigs Galore---should have known by the name. They charged $35. for trying on wigs! ( because they told us that they could not be expected to work for nothing) and you had to wear a head sock or a plastic bag --so my mom really couldn't tell if it fit cause the dang thing kept riding up off the stupid plastic--all ...because they didn't want to wash the wigs which were like from a costume house..most of them felt like shag carpet.....rant rant--the faces the "fitter" (who never mea... read more

What an awful experience! I wasn't allowed to try on whatever wig I wanted. After trying on 5, I was told I would have to decide among them! ...and the price of a sythetic wig was triple what it cost on-line. I was quoted a price tag of $700.00 for a classic bob, snythetic. When I balked at the price, the salesperson ( listed as the owner on the business card) told me she'd go out back to ask the owner if he could reduce the price. When I made my purchases, it was on a very dark rainy day ( the shop had flooded earlier, and my appointment was changed to the afternoon.) My husband was with me. I bought a wig and hat/wig combination. The owner assured me that the color would look flattering, in more natural light, and explained that during chemotherapy, my skin color would be different, and this shade, an ashy one, would be very flattering.
