Had the pleasure of getting a balayage by Jessica the owner. She really eased my fears that came with chopping off my hair and I really can’t recommend A Shear Thing enough for anybody looking for an elevated atmosphere at attainable prices.
Jess is excellent with color and communicates well. She will make sure that she understands what you are asking for and will tell you if what you want is achievable with the hair you have. She’s easygoing and personable and cares that you leave with hair that you love!

Jess is fantastic at really listening to what you’re looking for and helping to create that vision while maintaining the health of your hair. This is a tough line to walk, and she does it so well! Also, she has great hair washing sinks - the ergonomics make a difference!
Jessica and her salon are the best!! Found her and have been visiting 7 plus years strong. Myself and 2 teen girls with varying hair color and texture have used her for all our coloring and cuts. Great communication, amazing customer service and most of all finished looks that last. Wouldn’t trust anyone else.
