I can’t say enough good things about A Shade Darker. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely kind, making the entire experience a pleasure. The quality of their work is top-notch—truly top of the line. On top of that, their scheduling is super efficient, which made everything so convenient. I couldn’t be happier with the results!
A Shade Darker did another amazing job. We, as a family, have taken a dozen cars/trucks to this company for over the last 25+ years. The result has always been an excellent tint job or headlight protection that lasts as long as the car/truck. The customer service/reception is great too because they take a personal interest in your inquiry and quote. Simply put, if you want Tint, PPF or whatever applied/installed on your vehicle, A Shade Darker is the best in the greater Bay Area.
UPDATE: Just had my second Rivian R1S fully wrapped. Another amazing job and Joe stands by their work 100%. Stealth wrap on Rivian Storm Blue came out looking amazing. They took care of any concerns I had and were really generous. Thank you to A Shade Darker! This is the cleanest, most professional, and most amazing wrap job I’ve ever had on a car. Took my car to get tinted at a shade darker just have to say excellent service and an excellent job on my tint. I asked them to do something called a brow tint. I didn’t clarify how far down on my windshield I wanted it. So they did the standard length. When I told them I wanted it a little further down. They worked with me and removed it and extended it a little further without charging me. Will forever take my car to get tinted here and will recommend to my family and friends. Great experience overall! Took my new 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid in to get some Tint work done. The employees were also super informative with the options and differences between the 3 tint types they have to offer. I decided to go with 15% Ceramic Prime XR on the two front doors and 5% on the back half of my vehicle along with a brow on the windshield, it was also done in less than 2 hours which made me feel very pleased.
