Beautiful venue for a wedding right on the river. Lush grass, natural landscaping with roses and flowers everywhere, really cool water feature and stairs down to the grass. Lots of spaces for people to take photos or mingle. Be aware that it says no parking out in front on the street, but the venue actually pays for these parking spaces!
My friends had a wedding here and it is absolutely stunning!
Could not recommend A River House more! Not only were they extremely communicative throughout the whole process. But, they went above and beyond when we needed a to make a last minute decision to move the wedding day. They took the weight of contacting our vendors and helping us in so many other ways. We felt like family! So so happy with A River House. Stunning venue, cozy Airbnbs, wonderful people, and so much more!!
We were arriving late and needed some assistance with getting down to the wedding. Called ahead and the owner picked us up with golf cart. We made it .Great wedding. Fantastic owners Julie and Matt. They have a great story on how they got started. Thx again Russ and Dora Redding
A River House is a first class venue well worth the stay. Whether a few days or lucky enough to stay longer, you will have all the conveniences of home! Julee and Matt are gracious hosts. They are friendly and accommodating, and responsive to questions and requests. We have been privileged to stay at two of the properties, The Boat House and Garden House.
