We have taken our cars to a shop close to our business in Monterey for years, but decided to try Carmel Valley Auto Service during the lockdown this past year (since it is close to our home). They have earned our business going forward with their competence and courtesy. Nice people.
After purchasing a used RV from a dealership in Washington state, we experienced brake issues with our motorhome when we made it to Carmel Valley (visiting family). This shop took care of us and did a great job by replacing our rear calipers that the WA dealer missed. We were pressed for time and they made extra efforts to get parts that were 1.5hrs away (one way). Got an unexpected (of course) flat tire on a holiday drive and just made it into this garage. I was helped instantly, knowledgeably and efficiently at a very reasonable price. I think I was back on the road in under 15 minutes. I almost wish I lived nearby so I could use these guys regularly.
