Great renting experience. DeThomasis was pleasant to work with and easy to get a hold of. Their app had a straightforward interface, they got back to me quickly on emergent issues, and they were gracious about working with me on issues I brought to the table. The apartment itself was well built and maintained. Overall a very nice place to call home.
Do not rent with any A&R Dethomasis properties. Landland (caught on camera) made entry into my apartment without consent/24hr notice multiples times. They rewired a separate thermostat outside of my apartment (pic). They engage in tenant disputes regularly. The office has sent too many harassing emails to count threatening to have my car towed and to throw out my personal items in storage in the basement. Do yourself a favor with so many albany landlords out there, Avoid Dethomasis
Worst renting experience I’ve ever had. True definition of Albany slumlords. Do not rent with them unless you like paying a lot of money to live in a place with multiple violations.

DO NOT RENT WITH ANY A&R dethomasis properties. Rich (caught on camera) made entry into my apartment without my knowledge or 24hr notice. They illegally rewired a separate thermostat outside of my apartment to jack up my bill (set to 76, see pic). They seem to enjoy engaging in tenant disputes.
