Don't ever have the HIFU treatment from These people.I had it done for prostate cancer and five years later it has caused my prostate to fuse to my colon. My new urologist has told me that it was the HIFU treatment that caused it. The cancer returned and has left me with very limited options now.I am not able to have a prostatectomy now because if I do it's likely to leave a hole in my colon which would kill me or end up wearing a colostomy bag! A/Prof Peter Royce was the doctor for treating my then diseased prostate. Dr Royce is indeed an experienced and caring professional, which he demonstrated naturally throughout the process from step one on, and which was why I chose him as the one I could trust for my serious health problem. I have been a patient of A/Prof Peter Royce since 2018 when I had treatment for kidney stones. Since then, Peter has performed TURP surgery for me and more recently additional prostate surgery. Peter is a wonderful person, and an extremely professional and skilled surgeon. Peter is open with his doctor/patient conversations and ‘always’ has his patient’s wellbeing and best interests as his highest priority. I had a TURP operation done by A/Prof Peter Royce and he did fantastic job. Also didn't charge a lot above the Medibank Private rebate. I don't wish on anyone to require his services but if you do, he's highly recommend.
