Debbie groomed my 14 year old Chinese Crested Powderpuff this AM and I couldn't be more thrilled! After being "fired" by her long time previous groomer for biting her, Sweetie did great-no need for a muzzle and she sat still so that Debbie was able to trim areas that the previous groomer hadn't been able to get to. My dog was cared for and appreciated instead of being treated as a big problem. What a wonderful difference! I'm only sorry that I didn't find Debbie sooner.

We have been taking our beloved rescues, Marco (terrier mix) and Bianca (shih tzu mix) to Debbie at A PRECIOUS PETS PLACE for 3 years now. I will tell you that PRECIOUS PETS is no longer convenient to our new home, but we wouldnt think of bringing our dogs anywhere else, and are happy to drive miles out of our way to have them groomed there. I have been a customer of "A Precious Pets" for over 10 years now and I can attest that this is a wonderful place for both people who work there and for the dogs that get tender care there. I have even volunteered to help and have never seen or experienced anything like what that terrible, mean spiteful person is saying. Keep up the good work, Deb! I will always be your grateful, faithful customer.

The negative review was sent by a disgruntled former employee who was fired because she didn't do the work she was hired to do. I have used Debbie for over 10 years, she's taken care of my four toy poodles since they were babies, and has taken care of their babies as well. Never have I had any problem or concerns regarding Debbie's treatment of my dogs. Debbie loves every dog brought to her as if it was her own. I have worked for debbie for 5 years. NEVER have i seen her hit a dog over the head with clippers, NEVER have i seen her hurt or harm a dog.Debbie treats every dog or cat that comes in there with the upmost respect. People don't understand that working with dogs isn't always the most pleasant thing especially when the dogs don't always want to cooperate and we do the very best we can and love what we do. I have been taking my dogs to Deb for years and NEVER had a problem with her work. Deb is a very special kind person and loves animals...she would not hurt one!! Shame on a former employee to write that garbage. As far a negetive comments...you cant keep everyone happy all the time...thats life. We love you Deb ;)

I have been going to Deb for years and would recommend her to anyone. She loves animals and would never hurt any of them. For the post that said she hit a dog with clippers that is coming from a girl that worked there and got fired so she is mad and trashing this grooming place is her answer. My dogs have been with Deb since he was 8 weeks old and is almost 10! I would take any animal to her.

The first time we went our dog had big red spots all over his skin and we had to take him to the vet and get cream. We're not sure if she shaved too close or what. The second (and last) time we went the cut was terrible. Not that it has to be perfect, he is a dog, but anyone with clippers could have done better. The owner seems nice but I'm concerned what's going on when I'm not there. I guess we went there because of the price but I would gladly pay $15 or $20 more to make sure the job is done right and that he is safe.
