I ordered a stairlift for my brother-in-law on 6/18/26. A week later, before we had received any equipment or services, he moved to at home hospice, and 2 days later, he died. I called APlus on 6/25/26 to cancel the order. I expected to pay some re-stocking fee and likely some shipping costs. On a $4300 order, where they actually did no physical work (they never came out to measure as nothing was actually special about the job), other than to order the equipment, they promise to refund me $2340.
