Birthday cake was very beautiful to look at ..however I was so disappointed to find the marble cake to be very dry and tasteless with a much too sweet icing. The flower decoration "icing" was not edible and my grand daughters were so disappointed to discover that when picking their slice. Sorry to say, but for the disappointing taste (no one wanted seconds, and most didn't even finish their piece)...I can't recommend nor will I be ordering again. Very over priced too for a birthday cake. Sorry we gave it a try...
Love this bakery! I just had their apple danish. Unbelievably fantastic. Light, flaky dough with the apple filling a perfect blend of sweet and tart. Amazing. My husband had the lemon danish and loved it. We stocked up on some muffins; cranberry-orange (my favorite!!!!), blueberry, banana-walnut and apple. I even grabbed two cinnamon buns, one with the classic Icing and the other with nuts and raisins. Everything freezes beautifully and goes perfect with my coffee or tea. On 8/29 early morning I googled this place, I needed a cake and chocolate covered strawberries and was thinking cake pops as well seeing all of what I need they do, I left a message to get a call back. When this place opened I got a call from the owner she is amazing so professional, I explained that I need all cake, covered strawberries and cake pops by 9/4 for my daughters sweet 16 party, she said no worries I can do it send me pictures of cake which was sun bum theme. I met Cyndi through an organization called Icing Smiles (nonprofit organization that delivers dream cakes at no charge to kids impacted by critical illness). She took my vision and a few photos of our dogs and created an incredibly designed and detailed oriented cake which also tasted amazing. My 5 year old was thrilled and it made her day, communication and pick up were seamless, thanks again!
Cyndi did the desserts for my wedding and they were all fabulous. We went with a small cake just to cut and it was adorable and beachy looking, which is exactly what I pictured. We did a variety of desserts for the rest of the guests and they all raved about how wonderful everything tasted. We did almond cake for our wedding cake which was absolutely divine. My husband and I had never had almond flavored cake before but were hooked after our tasting.
