Kirstie and my teenager’s support person Laura have provided something unique to my teenager as they navigate ‘usual’ teenage angst but also some extra areas that were consuming their headspace. Kirstie was my mentor when I was a student here. This is a service that leads by example, the peer led model offers no textbook answers to trauma, just exploring ways to further connection within families and no-agenda support. Given the nature of the industry and the effects of the lockdown especially children and families, we were supporting, I got some real practical insights into staying calm in the eye of a storm from Kirstie.
A wonderful program. Engages kids with their clubs at another level.
