Good Christian based counseling.
I was told to pray when dealing with suicidal thoughts instead of calling a crisis line. The counselor I saw hardly seemed to care about anything other than preaching. I am also educated in mental health counseling and this was one of the most unhealthy experiences I’ve had. He also bad mouthed a different counselor who has helped me more than he ever could. He said that because I’m a sinner I should be able to forgive. He doesn’t seem to have a passion for counseling honestly. Only shoving God on people which isn’t helpful ... read more
