After several long years of a very bitter and contentious battle, Judge Kahn helped us to reach an end to our dispute. I truly believe his thorough preparation and forethought was the key to guiding us to an agreement. I represented one of 4 siblings engaged in a bitter family dispute. The case sprawled across 2 separate lawsuits. The case had been going on for 3 years. The case had been unsuccessfully mediated a year before. (For me, success is the resolution of the dispute acceptable to the parties and the end to ongoing litigation.) I’ve had two occasions to work with Judge Kahn as a mediator. Both cases had significant factual disputes and many grey areas in the law. The legal costs and fees to do these cases properly would have been prohibitive. In both cases, the parties were so far apart that if there was going to be resolution, it could only be accomplished with the assistance of a very skilled mediator.
