Sasha; I had had my recent colonoscopy at Sutter health in Santa Rosa. Doctor Michael Lustberg was my medical provider. He was kind, attentive, patient with me before and after my procedure. I feel fortunate to be his patient. The hospital is lucky to have him.
When my previous Sutter GI M.D left, I chose to see Dr Lustberg. Although (thankfully) I've only had to see Dr. Lustberg two times, I found him to be (most important) kind, attentive, knowledgeable. My last colonoscopy was a bit of a challenge and because of Dr. Lustberg's calm, humanistic manner, I got through it. I am grateful he is my M.D. & Sutter is fortunate to have him on staff.
I've been seeing Dr. L for just under 10 years now for chronic issues relating to his area of specialty. I have always found him unfailingly kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He LISTENS to me, to my questions and concerns, and always answers in a thoughtful way. At our most recent visit, I told him that I took him up on his recommendation that I start doing chair yoga and some other exercises to loosen my torso a bit to help deal with some of the long term pain I have.
