We stayed here on the Easter break for one night. We stayed in the upstairs loft, sleeping 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms were clean, tidy, and offered small touches like your own slippers/toothbrush/chocolates. We were impressed with the decor, and how the place was maintained to capture the charm of its period. We were early for check in and the room was ready, so convenient we were grateful! Surroundings offered cafes, and dining options such as Dudley's. Will return, so happy with the accommodation! 5 stars!
It was a lovely room and great location (near shops & restaurants) however our room had a distinct smell of sewerage (which we told the manager about twice in person and once via email). For the price per night of the suite (over $400) I’d expect more. We’d also ordered an add on which we paid for which wasn’t ready when we arrived and had to chase up.
