I went into the Collision Center asking to do some touch up on a bumper scratch and clean some discoloration on my trunk hood. They quoted $3300 stating they had to remove the trunk hood, replace the Lexus insignia which was not touched and remove the bumper for painting. I said it was crazy. I came home and used a paper towel to wipe the trunk hood as there was no dent or scratch. The bumper scratch was quoted elsewhere for less than $100. Some creep hit my car and took off. Luckily a witness got his plate number and I filed a claim with his insurance company. I took my car to the Lexus Certified Collision Center. Melissa Cake was my assigned contact there and she kept me updated on the repairs and fighting with the insurance company over repairs. Mellisa really made me feel she was fighting for me.
