I took my 1997 Saturn to this guy for a muffler and cat. The price was right and the car purred like a kitten when I left. So about 4 months latter I went back for a noise I could not detect coming from my engine compartment. He did good work so I thought I would go back. The owner said it was a bearing in my transmission. (5 speed manual trans) He quoted me 400.00 dollar to rebuild transmission. I said I will think about it.
