I have worked closely with Kevin and Angie over the last three weeks to secure a duplex for my son and his friend. There were multiple major obstacals and they couldn't been nicer helping me navigate them, since I live hours away. They get 10 stars in my book for the acts of kindness and professionalism they have shown to my son and his roommate with their housing needs. A & K Rentals treated me very well in my 38 months that I rented an apartment in Lansing from them. When I needed repairs done several times during my tenancy they were prompt to get them done. I was pleased with every aspect of my relationship with them and moved because I bought a house.
We are so grateful for A&K rentals we literally had terrible credit and were in a bad spot in life. They gave us a chance and a hand up. Renting there changed our life. We had a beautiful home and a new start the rent was fairly priced and they checked on our home frequently. They were very fair about returning our deposit considering we have some wild little ones. Thanks for the hand up!
Just too much to say! I just want to warn other's be very careful when renting from A and K rentals. I had to address his rude attitude from him and the lady at the front desk. When i had concerns to be addressed at the home. I put notes in with my rent envelope,left message and still was treated like i was a liar when i finally got him on the phone. My rent was never late even during the covid epidemic. My last 30 days was a living hell because i put in a 30 day notice.
The outside of the apartment building was in good repair but not the inside. I’m thinking the bedroom carpet was 30+ years old. When we toured, the previous evicted tenant was sleeping near the doorway.
