Worst landlord I have ever had. Last time I left pictures he refused Catholic Charities help for unless taken down. There is not one place in the bottom apartment at 7 ft I'm 6'4 and I hit my head every day. It's built in 1800s wiring, plumbing everythIng out dated. I have now rented from this company for 6 months and have nothing but nice things to say. When I first moved in my refrigerator wasn't working and I feared I'd struggle to get it addressed: Nope! They had someone out almost immediately. I am quite pleased! They only reason they lose a star is because I wish there were more available trash cans/dumpsters for the tenants to use. A minor issue in an otherwise quality-for-the-money rental experience.
This place is disgusting!! They have horrible plumbing issues, they've tore holes in my ceiling every year I've been here and haven't fixed the ceilings from where it was damp so the ceiling is peeling off. The office is also very unprofessional, unhelpful. There's no garbage disposal and only one basin in the kitchen, the laundry machines never work and they don't do background checks or care about felonies. (Check the sex offender registry before moving in)
I have worked closely with Kevin and Angie over the last three weeks to secure a duplex for my son and his friend. There were multiple major obstacals and they couldn't been nicer helping me navigate them, since I live hours away. They get 10 stars in my book for the acts of kindness and professionalism they have shown to my son and his roommate with their housing needs. We are so grateful for A&K rentals we literally had terrible credit and were in a bad spot in life. They gave us a chance and a hand up. Renting there changed our life. We had a beautiful home and a new start the rent was fairly priced and they checked on our home frequently. They were very fair about returning our deposit considering we have some wild little ones. Thanks for the hand up!
