A&J boatworks is full of absolute professionals from the top down. Finding a full service yard that is expert, thorough, and efficient is rare. For major rigging, engine swaps, fiberglass and woodwork, right down to the propspeed, I could not recommend them more.
Great experience with haul out and bottom job. Excellent prep, application, and choice of materials (pettit vivid). Didn’t lose any speed or efficiency. Pictures taken 5 months post job when the boat was taken out for service. Best thing is that’s ALL the growth before pressure washing to remove the little bit of algae and growth on the anodes. Boat stored in brackish water. Will be brining the boat back next season for re-coat. Thanks again!

40 years boating and my experience at A&J was the best experience I’ve had in a boat yard. The work was done well, expeditiously and priced fairly. If you want to avoid the normal excuses, up charges and work done by local hacks ….. this is where you want to go.
