Since attending this program, my 88-year-old mom’s physical health has improved because her emotional state has improved so dramatically. There is a direct connection! And when she’s doing well, it reduces my stress level. Another direct connection. I hope others in a situation similar to mine, caring for their elderly parent(s) with early stage dementia, will reach out to this organization for help.
Becky, Jeanette and the Team at A Gift of Time are truly amazing. This organization has not only provided respite for caregivers (me) but also provides a loving environment and thoughtful activities and entertainment for the participants(my husband). I'm so glad Becky took over the organization when she did as it has done nothing but thrive under her direction and care. I highly recommend their Respite Care and any activities they organize. Thank you for everything! You are making a difference!
A Gift of Time has been an important and valuable experience for both my husband and me. The program has provided him with the opportunity for much needed socialization and for me a time to take care of necessary errands that I cannot accomplish when caring for my husband.
This service was wonderful and what my dad needed! The staff is awesome and can provide support beyond just a weekly respite.
