On my trip from Denver to Ft Worth I had my car's splash pan come almost completely loose and had to drive nearly 50 miles with most of it dragging on the ground. Reached Dumas, saw their shop, and pulled in to see if there was anything they could do. They put my car up on jacks, looked at it and told me that the people who had done my last oil change had put the pan bolts incorrectly.
