I was looking to get a Totoro cake for my wife's birthday, and they did a fantastic job! I will certainly be going here again for any future cake orders.
Their strawberry shortcake is a MUST!
Check their Facebook for their available cakes for the day! They have ready-to-buy cakes on Thu-Sat. Their cookie choux puffs is Saturday only. It seems Tue-Wed has very limited immediate offerings like puddings/mousse. The best Japanese bakery in metro Detroit. When Hippo in Novi reopened as Moose bakery, it went downhill. White Wolf Patisserie in Clawson looks the part but often dense and bland. A’fondant is the only place doing authentic Japanese cakes. I really hope more people find this hidden gem.
Their cakes are beautiful and also taste amazing 😍 The Anmitsu, which is served in summer, and seasonal cakes such as Orange charlotte, Mille crepe, and Pavlova were also very delicious. They are special treats for us to spoil ourselves every weekend🩷. 日本人のパティシエさんによる、見た目も美しい繊細な味のケーキです。夏に出るあんみつも、オレンジシャルロットやミルクレープ、パブロバ等の季節のケーキも大変おいしく、1週間の疲れが取れ、元気の源でした♪ 駐在中、毎週末お世話になりました。(^^)
