It was my first kayaking. The staff taught us how to steer kindly. After kayaking, we got blisters. But it was really worth it.

This was a wonderful first experience in a canoe after not doing it for many years. As a 66 year old woman who once was in a canoe that turned over, I was nervous and self-conscious. Jeff was so great to work with. He was kind, helpful, informative and reassuring. The canoe was clean and the equipment in good shape. The tributary is truly like a lake and the area was scenic. Yesterday we decided to explore Kingston, NY & rented a tandem kayak at A Day Away Kayak Rentals L.L.C The service was amazing, kayaks were clean & it was an easy check in/out experience. Would highly recommend We experienced many breathless moments from a ton of birds all chirping at the same time, to spotting an eagle, turtles, ducks, underwater flowers, etc. It was simply magical 🪷 🦆 🪿 🦅

Beautiful little spot to hop on a kayak for a couple hours. The guy running it was super nice and took pictures and me and my girlfriend got to relax on the water for a bit. defintitely recomend

Great day on the river courtesy of A Day Away! Husband was a little anxious but Jessie made us both feel at ease. Kayaks & kit were clean and looked after. Plenty of parking and a very clean porta-loo for customers. Highly recommend
