Got charged $2095 for an alternator install, I paid cash and he wouldn't give me an invoice with his company name nor ABN,it had to be sorted out at the police station!! I got a legit invoice and he has to pay tax like the rest of us,way cheaper to go to Townsville to avoid being overcharged by Arthur Wright!! Then I found out that it was a faulty new alternator and returned to him and then he charged me another $880 to install another one!

POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE OLD AND OUTDATED BEWARE!!!! If no stars were available. I had to engage a lawyer to retrieve my vehicle. The business people are rude and overcharge for parts and labour. My vehicle needed a window motor, what an expensive comedy of errors they produced, this business is shoddy. The owners are unprofessional and will bully you. "Pop in for any auto-electrical issues“ - I just tried that as I asked for the electric brake controller to be checked but receptionist told me the guy was out on a job, didn’t know when he would be back and couldn’t possibly fit me in as he had other jobs. So really one cannot just pop in as it says on their google advertisement. So sad they they could not even spare 5 minutes for a quick check. Would have happily returned later. Receptionist was so unhelpful.
