William Essen operate a bakery and ice cream parlor unti 1914 when he sold it to his niece and her husband, Carl and Margaret Kokes. The business remained in his family for over 60 Years. Very good food right on the mall I had takeout from here a couple of times. Each time the food was terrific. Helpful waitstaff. Right next to the bakery on the mall. I'm definitely planning to return.
Great lunch Lunch was great - Italian wedding soup and a half sandwich - it was great on fresh made bread. The bakery is located downstairs and the smell alone was worth it. Nice lunch, friendly staff.
