We at Pure Elegance Bridal have been opened 2 yrs now, (opened in March 2012) We are in the same location as Brides World, after it was vacant for 3 yrs. We are not associated in any way with the previous 2 owners of Brides World.

New ownership---We are Pure Elegance Bridal opened up a new wedding gown shop in the original 'Brides World' building. 'Brides World closed up in 2010, We opened up a new store in the same location in 2012. Come in and check us out!!

I could go on for days about the HORRIBLE service, TERRIBLE excuses that were made, UNPROFESSIONAL, not somewhere you want to go if you want to have a pleasant experience. New management is not helpful, makes various excuses. Never answered phone calls, wouldn't return calls, made false promises and didn't order dresses when told to do so. When making a complaint to her about her excuse making and concern that our bridesmaids dresses wouldn't be in on time, she hung up on me. If anyone is having problems with A Brides World you need to contact The Hays newspaper they are going to do a follow up article because of closing and taking peoples money.

I am having the EXACT same issue. Biggest headache of my life. Her assistant, Heather, who is actually supper nice, finally got ahold of me when I was needing my flowergirl dress to get her fitted over the holidays and when I received it it was melted to the hanger. When I tried to get ahold of Elinda to get it fixed, her husband texted me with her response to it. Yeah I was told I am getting my money back for it, but a text from her husband was supper unprofessional. My bridesmaid dresses were supposed to be in over 3 weeks... read more

My bridesmaids ordered there dresses several months ago with a deposit. All of the sudden this shop just ups and closes. The owner, Elinda Bauer, won't call me or any of my bridesmaids to let us know if the dresses are coming in. They are VERY unprofessional. I've even went to her house and she never seems to be at home however she updates her facebook status constantly....she got married over Christmas break I hear...glad she took care of herself but none of her consumers. I purchased my dress from a bride's world in hays. The service was exceptional. Elinda, Heather, and the seamstresses were all very friendly to work with. They knew the answers to all my questions and called me promptly when my dress came in. My dress took 6 months as most do so I was not surprised that it took a while to come in, I was notified of this at the time of purchase. I have nothing but good things to say about this store!

Order elsewhere I orded my dress 4 months ago and am still waiting on it. All I get is it will be in any day now that is all I am been hearing for 4 weeks.

we had the worst business with them ever! they treated us worse than anyone has! they were disrespectful and rude consistantly! had no regard for anyone but themselves! i would tell anyone to never step foot in their store if at all possible! good luck to all you bride's but beware if you decide to go there! i have heard so many stories of the screw up they have caused! they dont even try to make it right either!
