I attended Karen's sourdough class and left feeling confident I could make sourdough at home! The literal hands-on experience was fabulous. Karen wants you to be successful and was great to follow-up even after class. I loved the small class size and gentle pace of instruction. Her classroom is beautiful and peaceful. A great learning environment for a skill so close to nature and tradition!
I have ordered several times from A Bit of Leaven & everything I have had has been AMAZING!! Karen has a variety of sourdough options available, each unique and able to be frozen. This quaint bakery is worth the drive! Wonderful sourdough breads and croissants!
We have been enjoying these fabulous sourdough loaves for a while now, always spot on. Sooo yummy and super easy to work with! The croissants were so fluffy too! 10 out of 10!!! My whole family of all ages love her bread! Also a portion of her proceeds go to a specified charity- talk about a win win!! She also offers classes at the beautiful bakery!!!
