Unfortunately they are indeed NOT a better windshield. I sent in a message after my new windshield was trashed in less than 2 months of being installed I got a response that was basically corporate script for “sucks to be you”. They confirmed the windshield I got was the “same OEM glass as their competitors”. I called Safelite to confirm this and they told me they would actually use Jeep’s manufactured windshield.
