A comprehensive supply! New organization in store allows one to find color sections which will include stone, glass, and crystal - very handy! Love the prices and the service at this store and...LOVE the in-store cat.
A great find! This place may have a great selection of beads and findings, but the best thing they have is their staff. Very friendly, nice, knowledgeable & helpful. Quick to offer assistance, but didn't hover. I really enjoyed my visit there and will defintely stop again when passing through Portland!
just an observation After driving from the vancouver area to find just the right component to my beading project, I was once again treated very rudely by the girls behind the counter. After I asked a question at the counter, one of the girls yelled at the lady that was out on the floor to help me. Thank goodness this lady was very knowlegeable and helpfull. Great Selection "A Bead Source" has a great selection, they always have what I'm looking for and if they don't have it they always offer to order it.
Rude Staff I have visited this store around 8 times within the last couple of years and have found most of the staff quite rude and abbrasive.
The Tops in Beads Great store!!! I do all my bead shopping at A Bead Source. They have great prices, lots of supplies, and wonderful customer service. Whatever I need for my bead work supplies, they always have it.I have been shopping at this store for 3 years. I am an artist and craftsman specializing in "Native American Style" works, and all my beading needs and feathers come from this store. They are on a major Bus Route, and easy to get to.I rate them with an A+, #1.
rude sales people I was in this store with my mother and I was at the back of the store looking for beads while my mother was at the front asking one of the sales clerks about something, when the other sales clerk, who was not involved in this conversation prior yelled at my mother. I was in the back and heard this while the owner was in her office much nearer to them with the door open and did not do anything about the situation.
Best Beads! (brinn) AWESOME is the best word. I shop a lot of different stores, on line and in person, but this one usually beats them all. They have such a great variety, good prices, about the only time I bother shopping elsewhere is when I see a sale at one of my sources or need some very specific beads they might not carry. I have never been disappointed with A Bead Source!
Great Selection! – This is a great store! It is always my first choice for beads due to great selection, good prices and good service.
