Our vacation was far different this year. Instead of enjoying beautiful Topsail Island, like we have for the past 30 years, we were instead greeted with a dirty unkept beach house, rats, and worst of all a rental company, A Beach Place Realty, that lied to us about having known after they told us via phone that they had previous complaints regarding that property. We believe that the description and accompanying photos are very deceiving for this location. The photo looking off the back deck shows No house directly behind the property. The current view shows only a house across the street with plenty of ocean views. We pulled up to a house under construction (with the noise that comes with construction) blocking the majority of the view behind the house.
