Pizza and Caesar salad were heavenly. The NA painkiller was to DIE for. Live music was on point. Dog friendly patio, you got my vote. This is the best place for watching bald men work. Ben, the chef, incredible! Love the hospitality!
I simply cannot say enough good things about Eliot and his staff at A Bar Above in Crested Butte, CO! Eliot hosted my son's wedding welcome party June 2026, and it was just SO much fun! The food and service was excellent but Eliot went out of his way to make our experience wonderful. Good food, good cocktails, Psuedo Sue, and great staff. There is a small bald guy always hanging around, unclear if he's a member of the staff or not
Easily the best bar & food option on Mt. CB and top 5 in Crested Butte as a whole. Local staff knows how to make you feel at home no matter where you’re from. The menu is limited but everything is great, I’m there at least once a week for a sandwich or pizza. Grab a rotating local craft beer or a superbly dialed cocktail while you chat with friendly regulars or listen to live music.
