I should’ve left a review a long time ago. This was the first ABA I ever went to when my daughter was first diagnosed with ASD. I had no idea what the standard was. And boy is this place NOT the standard. You’re supposed to have Parent training twice a month for an hour via insurance requirements. So I don’t know what they were telling insurance when I never got that. They would have her do toilet training, when she clearly wasn’t ready. I would rate A Balanced Child with Zero Stars. This is a very unprofessional practice that was recommended and sent a referral. I called several times and finally talked with Serica Cuellar one day who verified insurance acceptance and said someone would get in contact with us the next day. No one did as she promised. I have asked several people to see if they could get a response from them as well and still no one answers the phone or an abundance of messages left for them to return a call. Our family has been so happy with ABA services here. We've been receiving care at A Balanced Child for several years and have been grateful to have providers who are neurodiversity affirming, presume competence and treat our child as all people should be treated, with dignity and respect. We've seen so much growth in our child in our time here, and they are doing things we weren't sure were possible: attending school, getting haircuts & dental care, taking a plane ride, going on vacation.
