Yum. – Yummmmm! I love Pagliai's pizza. If you're in Iowa, Pagliai's is a must.
Waiting – Pagliai's pizza is okay but I've had better. I've been here quite a few times and have never had outstanding service or food. Everything is standard but I think they have the potential to be better and I always hear such great things about them but still have yet to experience it. Pagliai's is in walking distance from downtown so my friends and I come here quite a bit. But I'm waiting for the day they impress me with their food.

top pizza in USA – We have eaten pizza here for 40 years and will drive out of our way a hundred miles to eat here or in a sister restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa. Crisp crust, premium ingredients, minimal atmosphere add up to a real old time pizza joint and, in our opinion, our favorite after travel (and pizza) in all 50 states.
Great! – In my opinion, this is the best pizza store/restaurant in Iowa City! It is a family owned business since 1962 still run by its founder. He's a real Italian and knows his pizza!
