Throughout my life, I have been to many dentists. I started going here several years ago. My wife goes here too. He is excellent. I have rerely had to wait and he is very fast and efficient. He gets me in and out. What's more is when my employer switched dental plans and they were not on the list. He and his office reacted quickly and got on the list so I did not have to find a new dentist. I hated going to the dentist when I was younger. I am truly shocked to see these negative reviews! I started going to Dr. Assadinia about 10 years ago (maybe longer). Frankly, he was probably the best dentist that I have ever had. He was fast, efficient, and very competent. Every tooth he ever filled or crowned, is still perfectly in place, with no problems ever with that tooth and great cosmetic results. He does his job, but he's running around treating multiple patients at the same time. Does hardly stop 5 minutes to answer your questions and talk about your teeth, you just have to trust him apparently which is hard because he does not give a reliable or sympatic impression at all. No, it was a very bad first impression of the american dental service!
The one word that can sum up my whole experience with Assadinia is “disgusting”. Apparently everyone bites down on the same plastic mouthpiece on the panorama x-ray machine without any protective covering, not even a wipe-down with antiseptic. He seems to drag things out to get every possible penny. It took two visits for a cleaning…the first for cleaning and the second just for polishing. Does not take into account that you might actually have a schedule. Always put on a "list", barely ever get a real appointment. If you are put on list, you have to come in whenever he calls that day. Takes a long time to complete procedures compared to other dentists. I would not suggest going here at all.
