I had a problem with my fireplace brick lining and I needed the pipes cleaned. I called Donahue Chimney Services, sent some pictures by text and Rich essentially diagnosed my problem over the phone. He has a wealth of knowledge about fireplaces & chimneys. We setup an appointment. He confirmed shortly before he arrived (on time). Very professional -- clean, equipment in good shape, used drop-cloths, respectful of my home. He spent about an hour cleaning and repairing everything. The price was very fair. Very poor service, chimney needed clearning after a week. Called to ask for reinspection of work. I was told I would have to pay for the service again. At this point Mr. Donahue indicated that he would only speak to my husband. In this day and age some companies still undermine women.

Donahue Chimney Service installed a metal chimney on my house in South Kingstown RI to replace the "power vent" I had on the boiler. He had to make a hole in the foundation to accommodate the pipe, put the pipe up the side of the house, and connect it to the boiler. He did the job in a day, was very clean, and even cleaned the outside of the pipe after it was installed. The price was reasonable. I am very happy both with the chimney, which is a huge improvement over the power vent, and Donahue's work.
