I had the same thing happen too me had a transmission built didnt even put 100 miles on it and it burned out. I never took it to high speeds. Took it to another trans shop and he said everything was bad even the case had cracks. He would not stand behind his work. I would not recommend him.

Had a 700r4 built for a street custom application. This project car sits in a garage for several months at a time. Transmission burnt out with less than 500 miles of use. A-1 would not stand behind build because it had been over 12-months (around 18) since the build. Which to some degree I can understand but he also made it clear that my vehicle held no priority should I choose to bring it back. It would be weeks before he would even look at it.
