Unclean Against my better judgment I received a tattoo from A-1 Tattoos on a friend's recommendation. The business was unkempt and lacked the sterile doctor's office feel of a good tattoo parlor. The tattoo artist seemed very distracted and rushed through the job. When the tattoo was complete he didn't even wrap my arm up and asked me to do it myself. The whole experience was very unprofessional. Its a shame because a handful of the artists there are very talented. They just can't seem to run a shop or keep it clean.
Good dudes, great tattoos. This is the best shop in the area by far. I live in PA and am a loyal a-1 customer. The above review claims they're racist and drug addicts which is 1000% false. They have a no racism sign at the door! Ive been tattooed by everyone in the shop and Cracker is the most personable and helpful and really looks out. He isn't a druggie at all.
