Wish I went with Classic Sod instead – I wish I saw these reviews beforehand. I had exactly the same experience. Horrible sod (I've orderd tons of this stuff so I know what it's supposed to look like). Weeks later, still trying to nurse it to health, and the sandy base makes it uneven. What's worse is that I ordered Palmetto, but they sent Floratam. I caught it when we were almost done laying it. I called them and they blew it off as not available.
