I’ve worked here for 18 months , I can honestly say it takes awhile for peoples true feelings and intentions towards a certain ethnicity. I, myself have been victim of allot of undertone racism. As well as being confronted by numerous employees that things have indeed been said falsely about me and others who look like me. I possess text messages records to prove these allegations. I worked at A-1 for 3 years. It’s the worst Truss company that you could ever work for. The management is horrible and multiple people from HR and management have been fired for stealing money. If you’re an African American you’ll never get ahead there, because they believe only the Mexicans can build trusses and only the black employees deserve to stack or backplate trusses. Mainly stacking. Any of the employees I’ve ever worked with can vouch that I was one of their best employees, but they barely wanted to give me a raise... read more
