I recently purchased a brand new Mercury 300 and had a few rigging questions that I needed help with right away. The owner, A1 Marine, Bob, was absolutely excellent to work with. I was having problems with shifting and throttle, so I bought a new set of cables. I was too busy to change them, so I brought my boat to A-1. They came recommended. I was told the lower end was part of the problem, so I bought a new one. I was told that I needed a trim motor rebuild, so I had that done. The work cost well over $2,000. Used these guys/gals more than once now on two different boats-great communication and prompt service- they actually do what they say they will do and they call you back! (Unlike some other marine repair companies in the area) Very accommodating and fair.
I had to bleed my Hydraulic steering lines on my boat and wasn't sure of I needed specific fluid for my type system. I went to a well known, over priced boat store. They didn't know, nor did they have the Hydraulic fluid I needed. So I went to A1 Marine and asked the mechanic he not only answered my questions, but he had the fluid as well. Now I can take my wife back to the beach and all is right with the world again thanks to A1 Marine!! Thank you A1!!
Joe and the crew at A1 have always taken good care of me. I have an older Boston Whaler Montauk 17 with an Evinrude Exec 90.
