For CO2 refills they're great. They fill the bottle you bring in. The price is decent and becomes better value the larger the bottle. 10+ lbs get the best value, as the cost savings on a 20 lb bottle are minimal, but worth it to me.

A-1 has been our to go place to inspect fire extinguishers. They helped me inspect and recharge several extinguishers quickly and at a fair price.

I called and/or visited about 10 different places in SA looking for Co2. Everybody else either required me to buy a used tank from them or leave my existing tank for 48hrs to be filled, or they were charging $3.50-$5.50 per pound of Co2. I finally found A1 who is currently selling Co2 for just under $2.00 per pound and was able to fill my 10lb tank in about 15min. I can now recommend A1 for hassle free, quick co2 refills. They also do hydrotesting when/if your tank needs it for very reasonable prices.

Don't use this company! I took my tank to another company who had 2 seperate people do the visual test and said it would have passed. A1 put xxx on the dot number without giving me a chance to get a second opinion. Beware!!!
