Glen was great with my nervous daughter and Emily was also fantastic helping her go over the maneuvers on the test multiple times (especially parallel parking!). Chuck was her last drive and he made her uncomfortable with some of his comments and tactics. He also didn’t listen to her when she said she did NOT want to do freeway driving. I honestly loved working with A-1. The online course made it easy to go at my own pace, and the sections were simple but covered everything I needed. Getting drive times can be a little tricky at first, but once I figured out they release them at certain times (and that you can grab canceled spots), it was no problem. I finished the coursework in about a month — which I could’ve gone faster, but I took it slow. I usually did 2–3 sections a day, and it flew by. Great teachers! Wonderful experience! I did the online courses with the in person driving, and I have only good things to say about the whole thing. People said it would be hard to schedule drives during the summer, but I didn't have much trouble with it. Thank you A1!

Scheduling is difficult and challenging but we like Chuck! Make sure your instructor is Chuck and not Matthew F. Chuck is very thorough at teaching and has also taught my oldest daughter, 10 years ago. My 16 year old is impressed but was disappointed while observing Matthew today. He ended 30 minutes earlier so she had to call her sister to be picked up (I’m relieved she was able to) because the driver was afraid to go on the freeway on her first day.
