In 1992, lifelong friends John Meador and Chris Janse had a crazy idea of starting a striping company while both holding down jobs at a major downtown Houston bank. Working out of the back of Chris’ small pickup truck, the two young and energetic entrepreneurs would stripe parking lots during the night and get a few hours of rest before reporting to their “real” jobs at the bank.
