The 2 stars are only for Gary. This man is an honest small business owner who truly does care. That said, I paid $6000 for “zebra blinds” for my entire sunroom. It was a disaster. Not measured correctly by Kelly. When I noticed it, I texted her and she never called me but within 5 minutes the final payment popped up on my credit card. The installer is a train wreck. I was referred to Gary at A-1 Blinds from a friend, they did a wonderful job from measuring and installation and the finished product is awesome. They were very prompt with their service as well. I am very very pleased with all three windows I had done. I will refer him to everyone I know!,
Great service, great product! I originally ordered shutters for my bay window from another company. They messed up my order 3 times and after 8 months I still did not have shutters. After I finally got my money back from them, I called A-1 Blinds and Shutters. When they came out to measure, I told them my story. They made a recommendation, double checked their measurements, and placed the order. 2 weeks later they called to say the shutters were ready to install which they did the the very next day. Approximately 13 years ago Gary and his team came to our condo and measured for living room and dining room for window coverings. They were on time, gave us options, and we chose plantation shutters. We were given a very fair timeline of several weeks. The price was comparable to other companies, but we wanted to shop local and not big box stores. The shutters were made in St. Petersburg.
