Honest shop. Called to ask about a quote and talked me out of it for fear of worsening the issue. Phone call only, but if he was malicious he would have asked me to come in!
Tony, the owner, is awesome. They do solid work and don't try to rip your arm and leg off in the process. Had valve cover gaskets replaced here and other work, and I felt treated well and the price was fair.
I had a very bad experience with this mechanic. It took him 3 weeks to fix my car's transmission. After that, he started charging $50 a day to have in hes shop. I've been in this country for more than 13 years. No mechanic has ever charged me $50 to have it in the shop. To me, that's a rip-off. People of Boston, be careful with that mechanic
